1.Tip koşullu cümleler gelecekte olması muhtemel bir olayı düşünürsek ne olacağını anlatmak için kullanılır.
Çoğunlukla kullanılan şekli:
If + Simple Present, WILL future

*Truth (Gerçek)=> It may rain . If so , we will eat inside.
========> (Yağmur yağabilir. Eğer öyle olursa, içeride yiyeceğiz.)
*Conditional Sentence (Şartlı cümle)=> If it rains we will eat inside.
========> (Eğer yağmur yağarsa içeride yiyeceğiz.)

*Truth => The cat might die . In that case , Arda will be upset.
========> (Kedi ölebilir. Bu durumda, Arda üzülecek.)
*Conditional Sentence => If the cat dies , Arda will be upset.
========> (Eğer kedi ölürse, Arda üzülecek.)

*Truth => It is possible that Steve will enter the competition. And if he does, I am sure he will win.
========> (Steve muhtemelen yarışmaya katılacak. Ve eğer katılırsa eminim ki kazanacak.)
*Conditional Sentence => If Steve enters the competition, he will win.
========> (Eğer Steve yarışmaya girerse, kazanacak.)

*Truth => Why don"t you ask for a pay rise ? You"ll probably get one.
========> (Neden maaşına zam istemiyorsun? Muhtemelen alacaksın.)
*Conditional Sentence => If you ask for a pay rise , you will probably get one.
========> (Eğer maaşına zam istersen, muhtemelen alacaksın.)

*Truth => The office may be closed . In that case , we won"t be able to get in.
========> (Ofis kapanmış olabilir. Bu durumda içeriye giremeyeceğiz.)
*Conditional Sentence => If the office is closed we won"t be able to get in.
========> (Eğer ofis kapalıysa içeriye giremeyeceğiz.)

*Truth => The picture may be valuable . If so , we can sell it.
========> (Resim değerli olabilir. Eğer öyleyse, onu satabiliriz.)
*Conditional Sentence => If the pic is valuable , we can sell it.
========> (Eğer resim değerliyse, onu satabiliriz.)

*Truth => It is probable that Mary won"t come . In that case , the party will be cancelled.
========> (Büyük ihtimalle Mary gelmeyecek. Bu durumda parti iptal edilecek.)
*Conditional Sentence => If Mary doesn"t come , the part will be cancelled.
========> (Eğer Mary gelmezse, parti iptal edilecek.)

**Eğer if li cümlede anlatılan eylem gelecek ile bağlantılıysa, gelecek zaman yerine geniş zaman kullanıyoruz :

*Truth => Perhaps she will come tomorrow. Then we will work together.
========> (Belki de o yarın gelecek. O zaman birlikte çalışacağız.)
*Conditional Sentence => If she comes tomorrow, we will work together.
========> (Eğer yarın gelirse, birlikte çalışacağız.)

*Truth => Perhaps it won"t rain at the weekend . Then we will go on a picnic.
========> (Belki de hafta sonu yağmur yağmayacak. O zaman pikniğe gideceğiz.)
*Conditional Sentence => If it does not rain at the weekend , we will go on a picnic.
